Since AMRHEALTH is an Application Service Provider, it is especially important that our customers know and understand that the security and functionality of their data will not be threatened after December 31, 1999. Software All AMRHEALTH software applications are Y2K compliant and will continue working in the year 2000. All date dependent fields in our Application Systems were designed to accommodate a four digit year. The software is currently in use in support of over 11 million lives. Hardware All hardware systems used by AMRHEALTH in the entire application framework are Y2K compliant. Extensive testing and design have been completed to ensure the functionality of our systems. Back-Up Methods All data and systems are backed up on a daily basis and uses a data-redundant fault-tolerant system to ensure no data will be lost. Business Partners AMRHEALTH has verified that the third-party business partners are Y2K compliant. We have been in close contact with our third-party partners and have been assured that their systems meet all requirements necessary for the year 2000. Precautions AMRHEALTH will have a team of technicians on-call 24 hours a day monitoring our servers from December 31, 1999 through January 1, 2000. This Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure is in compliance with the "Year 2000 Information and Readiness Disclosure Act of 1998." This disclosure is not a guaranty, warranty or contract and is given only for informational purposes to help our clients prepare for the Year 2000. We cannot guaranty the systems of third-party organizations that we partner with. |
